ARBURG is a leading global manufacturer of machines for plastics processing. The portfolio includes the freeformer for additive manufacturing and ALLROUNDER injection moulding machines.  

The open system ARBURG Plastic Freeforming (APF) processes qualified standard granulates. The freeformer is suitable for the production of functional components, also made of soft materials and in a resilient hard-soft combination. 

At the ARBURG Prototyping Center in Lossburg, Germany, and in subsidiaries worldwide, freeformers produce benchmark parts for prospective customers. Preliminary trials determine whether it is actually suitable for the desired part, material and application. 

ARBURG produces exclusively at the German headquarters in Lossburg, but is represented by its own organisations at 34 locations in 25 countries and, together with trading partners, in more than 100 countries. Of a total of about 3,600 employees, about 3,000 work in Germany. About 600 further employees work in ARBURG’s organisations around the world.
