1.Development and print-out for the 3D printers for engineered plastics (PEEK)

R&D project for the high temperature/ultra-large-sized FDM 3D printers

Succeeded in 3D printing of PEEK for [Samyang Corporation]

-          The first-ever successful commercialization case in South Korea (the 4th in the world). We plan to secure the competitive advantages through the R&D on the processes and technology transfer in the future.

-          The strength of PEEK is comparable to that of aluminum, while the material is also capable of withstanding a high temperature up to 200 degrees. It can be applied to many different areas such as machinery, automobile, and aviation. Especially due to its elasticity moduli that are similar to those of the bones, it can be useful in implant treatments.

2.Development of the largest SLA 3D printer in Asia and Prototype Production of Auto parts for future Mass-Production

We developed our own SLA printing equipment and materials, which had to rely on imported products in the past, to produce large-sized parts.

-          The second in the world to secure the large-sized SLA 3D printing technology

-          The first case to use the parts in large-sized mass-production cars

-          [Curtain Coating Technology] is a coating technology which allows high-speed transfer without contacting the printed materials.

-          [Floating Resin Technology] allows the saving of materials cost by 80%.

-          Build up 2300x850x1000mm (Car bumpers, dashboards, large appliances, figures, architectural bird’s-eye view etc)

3.Developed the world’s first [hydrogel mask-pack] based on [Piezo Jet Dispenser].

Secured the high-speed hydrogel mask-pack print-out technology (takes less than 20 seconds for a print).

-          A technology that automatically assigns the ingredients selectively by analyzing the skin types using the SLOT layer

-          Selects and prints out the ingredients based on the conditions of different areas of the skin, such as the T zone, U zone, under the eyes and nose.
